The last patch of July, on July 30, 2026, dealing with a couple of immersion-breakers.

The July 15, 2026 hotfix continues the run of autonomy repairs that started with v0.9.4 — including Zois failing to feed themselves and ignoring fires.

The first patch of July, on July 1, 2026, still working through the high school update.

A substantial cleanup of the high school update on June 25, 2026 — including one fix that reveals an awkward interaction between two systems.

June 19's update makes high school playable — classes, tests, clubs, lockers, prom, graduation, the lot. It also quietly does something with much wider reach: Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics are now supported, which changes who can run the game at all.

A heads-up for outfit mod creators: a Character LOD3 change on June 18 can make older outfit mods look broken. The fix is straightforward, but it does require action.

A small quality-of-life hotfix on May 15, 2026 — and a welcome one if you've ever started a long interaction by mistake.

A short hotfix on May 2, 2026, still cleaning up after the Unreal Engine 5.6 move.

One day after the v0.8.0 update, a hotfix on April 30, 2026 cleaning up the new career system and the new Build Mode multi-select.

With inZOI moving to Unreal Engine 5.6 in the v0.8.0 update, CurseForge mods need migrating too — and there's a window where your mods will look broken.

April 29's update is the one where work becomes a real system. Six new careers with job interviews, team projects, paid leave, retirement and pensions — plus freelance jobs, which have been on the roadmap since May 2025. And underneath all of it, inZOI now runs on Unreal Engine 5.6.

The March 31, 2026 hotfix cleans up the anniversary update's ageing and birthday systems — including one bug where NPCs were spontaneously turning into babies.

One year of Early Access. The inZOI team's anniversary update deliberately isn't a pile of new features — their words: "rather than introducing many new features, our focus remains on making the game better." It's still enormous, and it finally delivers several things that had been sitting on the roadmap since 2025: custom keymapping, a Memories system, and face modding.

A tidy-up hotfix on February 24, 2026, following the v0.6.0 mini update.

February 12's update is deliberately a mini update. The inZOI team is explicit about why: the main focus now is the "Fundamentals First" effort to improve the core of the game, with new content arriving in smaller increments alongside it.

The first inZOI patch of 2026 arrived on January 9, and it's largely about making the new business system usable — starting with the fact that you no longer have to design a shop from scratch.

The December update landed on December 23, 2025, and it's the biggest expansion of what a Zoi can do since Early Access began. Your Zois can now run their own businesses, take up a life of crime, and — if caught — stand trial. On top of that: multitasking, group interactions, three new skills, and a limited-time Holiday Festival.

The November 11, 2025 hotfix is notable for a reversal: the inZOI team has undone one of v0.4.0's changes after players pushed back on it.

Hours after v0.4.0 went out, the inZOI team followed it with a small hotfix on October 30, 2025 — plus a warning that's arguably more important than the fixes themselves.

The October update arrived on October 30, 2025, and it is a big one. Death is no longer the end — Zois can carry on as ghosts, attend their own funerals, and unlock ghost-only skills. Alongside that, the whole mentality system has been rebuilt, and the default in-game day is now 48 minutes instead of 96.
