The November 11, 2025 hotfix is notable for a reversal: the inZOI team has undone one of v0.4.0's changes after players pushed back on it.

Downloaded textures are back in MY Texture

v0.4.0 changed MY Texture so that externally downloaded textures no longer appeared in the list, a decision made for stability and performance. That change is now reverted — textures downloaded from Canvas show up and work exactly as they did before. The team apologised for the disruption and credited player feedback for the reversal.

Other improvements

• Night lighting brightened so surroundings no longer look excessively dark.
• Eating and drinking interactions capped at 30 minutes — a follow-on tune from the 48-minute day.
• You can organise multiple plates or books at once.
• On "Continue" saves, newly created properties now update automatically, and a "Update site manually" button was added under Game Options → Gameplay → Other.
• During dates, the partner Zoi is auto-selected as the Team Up target.
• Housewarming events now offer Greet and Receive a gift interactions.
• Zois with the Lazy trait no longer accumulate mountains of trash — New Game only.

Bug fixes

Gameplay

• Fixed crops withering too quickly — the same class of bug last patched in v0.3.6.
• Fixed an abnormally large number of NPCs turning up to certain events.
• Fixed 'Kiddy Guards' interactions not activating with distant objects in Bliss Bay.
• Fixed high-level Zois failing at boat fishing far more often than their skill should allow.
• Fixed food not being created after paying for Bibimbap at Down Deli.
• Fixed excessive toddler needs requests when not resolved in time.
• Fixed Zois falling into a "Devastated" state and struggling to recover their needs.
• Fixed irrelevant motions triggering in surprise situations, and scheduled meetings by message not registering.
• Fixed empty plates when using a mod that modifies Food.json.
• Fixed Meow Store donuts' emotional suppression effect not applying.
• Fixed excessive mirror flickering in Low-spec Mode. Ray Tracing now defaults to Off on low-spec PCs.

Character

• Fixed senior-specific motions not playing when switching a Zoi to Senior in CAZ.
• Fixed outfits missing from the [Connect] category.

Build Mode

• Fixed stair tread customisation not applying to the landing, and stair wall settings resetting on Continue.
• Fixed AI Build not working on high-end AMD graphics cards.

Mods

• Fixed Language Mods not applying when opening Options from the lobby, and being deactivated after a restart — both affecting the localisation mod support introduced in October.
• The crash notification popup now lists which mods were automatically disabled.
• Fixed a crash when attaching or detaching accessories on the 3D Printer.
