The first inZOI patch of 2026 arrived on January 9, and it's largely about making the new business system usable — starting with the fact that you no longer have to design a shop from scratch.

The last patch of 2025 arrived on December 30, and the headline is a rollback: Smart Zoi has been reverted to its October build after the December update broke it.

One day after v0.5.0, the inZOI team shipped a hotfix on December 24, 2025 targeting the update's two newest systems — businesses and the crime-and-trial loop.

Alongside the v0.5.0 update, the inZOI team has detailed this month's new items — a winter wardrobe and a large batch of festive decor.

The December update landed on December 23, 2025, and it's the biggest expansion of what a Zoi can do since Early Access began. Your Zois can now run their own businesses, take up a life of crime, and — if caught — stand trial. On top of that: multitasking, group interactions, three new skills, and a limited-time Holiday Festival.

The inZOI team has announced maintenance for Canvas, the game's creation-sharing platform.

The last hotfix of November arrived on November 26, 2025, with a fix that matters to anyone who switched the day length back after v0.4.0 changed the default.

A smaller hotfix on November 19, 2025, mostly aimed at UI problems that appeared when loading existing saves after v0.4.0.

The November 11, 2025 hotfix is notable for a reversal: the inZOI team has undone one of v0.4.0's changes after players pushed back on it.
