The inZOI team pushed another round of Cahaya fixes on September 3, 2025. Two of them answer complaints players have been making since the Island Getaway launch: whale sharks were near-impossible to find, and the resort password interaction was locked to family members.

The Mac App Store build followed on September 5, and the Mac Steam build a few days after that — worth knowing if you're on Mac and the patch notes don't match what you see in game.

Gameplay changes

• "Share accommodation password" now works both ways. Zois who haven't checked in can ask a Zoi who has for the password, and the interaction reaches beyond family to housemates, partners, and fiancés. (The interaction was also moved out of the Conflict menu back in v0.3.4 — this is the second fix to the same feature in a week.)
• Whale sharks are much easier to find. The team expanded the previously low-probability zones and added new ones, so the search area for a whale shark in Cahaya is now considerably larger.
• (Mac only) The power cable warning now appears at most once every three hours instead of constantly. It's there to flag the performance drop when a MacBook runs on battery — it was just firing far too often.

Bug fixes

• Fixed infinite loading when travelling to another city after a family member died.
• Fixed street vendor NPCs in Dowon and Bliss Bay intermittently not showing up for work. (Cahaya's vendors got the same treatment in v0.3.4.)
• Retail shop NPCs will now always be present at the shop instead of wandering the streets, their outfits no longer get dirty, and their needs recover naturally.
• Fixed the "Another Zoi is using it" message appearing at Bumi Indah House when a child asked to do laundry on an idle washing machine.
• Fixed pregnant Zois occasionally being unable to give birth.
• Fixed missing hair on some babies in the Adoption screen.
• Fixed tomato pasta made with certain tomatoes being impossible to eat or refrigerate.
• Fixed the reward popup's OK button showing in Korean.

Mods are disabled on update

As with every patch, all mods are automatically switched off when the update applies. You can turn them back on afterwards.
