Version 20250701.5443.W was applied on July 2, 2025, cleaning up several issues left over from the June update — including two that could leave a pregnancy permanently stuck.
Gameplay
- Personal interactions improved — conditions and emotional rewards were added, and autonomous behaviour now reflects them better.
- Fixed camera controls becoming unresponsive when repeatedly clicking into Free Camera mode while controlling a Zoi.
- Fixed Zois occasionally becoming unresponsive after loading a save.
- Fixed newborns not appearing in the family list after moving a pregnant Zoi to another household via Edit City.
- Fixed pregnant Zois never giving birth in some save files.
- Fixed NPCs not going to work while the
timeSpeedcheat was active.
If your Zoi was stuck pregnant
The birth fix works by resetting the pregnancy back to its pre-pregnancy state on affected saves. Gender identity settings may be cleared at the same time — if that happens, set them again and they'll apply correctly to both the identity pop-up and the Zoi profile.
Character
- Fixed some boy Zoi hairstyles appearing twice in the hairstyle category.
- Fixed unnatural facial features on newborns generated through genetics.
Crashes
- Fixed an intermittent crash when loading a save or switching families.
New game required
The Edit City newborn fix applies only to games started fresh via "New Game".
