The January 15, 2026 hotfix changes where drink mixing lives and dials back one of v0.5.0's rougher edges — Zois being arrested constantly over trivial crimes.

Drink mixing moves to a new object
A Drink Dispenser object has been added and placed on selected lots. Mixed drinks were previously prepared at bar tables; the Drink Mixing skill now works through the dispenser instead. If you built a bar around the old behaviour, you'll want to place one.
Bug fixes
- Arrests during minor crime interactions happen far less often. The crime system was punishing petty offences as harshly as serious ones.
- Fixed trials being unable to proceed when a trial event and another Zoi event landed at the same time. Saves where this already happened may still be affected.
- Fixed all food disappearing when setting the table after portioning certain dishes — a follow-up to the portioning feature added in v0.5.3 — and "Portion and Set Table" not working on bar tables.
- Fixed food not displaying properly on sales counters when Object Mods were installed.
- Fixed the Save Zoi Preset button doing nothing when required information was missing, and original creator information not being preserved for Zoi Presets and Style Presets.
- Fixed vehicles stopping when selecting "Go to the Business Property" mid-drive.
- Fixed several speech bubble problems: icons not appearing when adjusting camera distance, empty bubbles showing, and bubbles occasionally missing during conversations.
