inZOI ModKit Release Preview & Modding Roadmap Announced!
Big news from the inZOI team: the highly anticipated inZOI ModKit is scheduled to launch in late May 2025, and it's bringing a wave of official tools to empower your creativity! Alongside this, Krafton has shared a detailed modding update roadmap stretching throughout 2025.
The inZOI ModKit, downloadable via the Epic Games Store, aims to make modding accessible and powerful. Here’s a sneak peek at what the initial release will offer:
inZOI ModKit Preview (Late May 2025)
- Download inZOI Assets: Access representative meshes (FBX) and JSON data files for outfit sets and standard furniture. More assets will be added in future updates.
- JSON Data Editing: Freely adjust various game states and conditions by editing JSON files. Imagine creating a bed that fully restores sleep in 5 minutes or changing buff durations!
- Maya & Blender Plugins: Official plugins will be provided to seamlessly import downloaded meshes into these popular 3D modeling tools.
- Create Unreal-Based Mod Projects: Import assets made in Maya, Blender, or other tools into the ModKit and package them as Unreal plugin format mod projects.
- CurseForge Integration: Upload and package your completed mods on CurseForge. Other players will be able to easily search for and download your mods via an in-game CurseForge interface.
