Kucingku City Overview

Prepare for a tropical escape to Kucingku, the first planned free DLC city for inZOI! Announced during the Online Showcase and slated for release around August 2025 (potentially aligning with International Cat Day on August 8th), Kucingku promises a unique, cat-filled island paradise inspired by the beautiful resort destinations of Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia.

What to Expect in Kucingku​

While specific details are still emerging, here's what we anticipate based on official descriptions and teasers:

  • Tropical Island Paradise: Expect stunning beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, lush vegetation, and potentially vibrant coral reefs, drawing heavily from Indonesian and Southeast Asian coastal aesthetics.
  • Cat Island Theme: As the name suggests ("Kucingku" translates to "My Cat" in Indonesian/Malay), cats will be a central feature. Expect to see felines roaming freely throughout the island, with unique interactions likely focused on them. This might be the first step towards a full pet system in the future.
  • Aquatic Activities: The focus on clear waters, reefs, and marine life strongly suggests activities like snorkeling and diving will be available for Zois. Fishing is also highly probable.
  • Relaxed Atmosphere: Descriptions emphasize tranquility and natural beauty, suggesting a more laid-back vibe compared to the bustling streets of Dowon or the lively boardwalk of Bliss Bay.
  • Unique Architecture: Housing and community lots will likely feature designs inspired by Southeast Asian resorts and traditional island architecture. Think beach bungalows, open-air cafes, and potentially luxury villas.

Potential Careers and Gameplay​

Specific careers haven't been confirmed, but based on the theme, we might see jobs related to:

  • Tourism & Hospitality: Working at resorts, cafes, or as tour guides (diving/snorkeling instructors?).
  • Marine Biology/Conservation: Studying or protecting the island's reefs and marine life.
  • Animal Care: Perhaps specific roles related to caring for the island's large cat population.
  • Arts & Crafts: Focusing on local crafts inspired by the island culture.

Gameplay will likely revolve around enjoying the natural environment, interacting extensively with the island's cats, and engaging in water-based activities. It might offer a more relaxed pace of life compared to the other cities.

How to Play in Kucingku City​

Currently it's not possible to play in Kucingku city as it is still in development. Once Kucingku is released, players will likely be able to experience the city in a couple of ways:

  1. Starting a New Game: Just like with Dowon and Bliss Bay, you should be able to select Kucingku as the starting city when creating a new family and beginning a new save file.
  2. Moving Existing Families (Future Feature): The "Move Cities" feature is planned for the December 2025 update. Once implemented, players will likely be able to relocate their existing families from Dowon or Bliss Bay to Kucingku, bringing their established lives to the new tropical setting.

As Kucingku is a DLC city (albeit a free one during Early Access), you will need to ensure your game is updated to the version that includes it (expected August 2025) to access it.

When Will Kucingku Be Available?​

Kucingku is scheduled to be released as part of the free August 2025 update during inZOI's Early Access period. As the first expansion city, it marks the beginning of inZOI's world expansion, offering players a completely new environment and gameplay focus, all centered around the charm of a tropical cat island.
