inZOI Demo Information
Before the official Early Access launch of the full inZOI game on March 28, 2025, Krafton released specific demo versions to showcase features, gather feedback, and allow players a first taste of the game's powerful creation tools. These demos were separate from the main Early Access game.
inZOI: Creative Studio Demo (March 2025)
The most prominent and publicly accessible demo was inZOI: Creative Studio.
- Purpose: This demo focused primarily on showcasing the advanced character creation (Create-a-Zoi) and building (Build Studio) features, allowing players to experiment with the deep customization options available for Zois and their homes. It did not include live mode gameplay (managing needs, careers, relationships, etc.).
- Availability:
- Limited Access (March 20-22, 2025): Initially available via Steam keys distributed through Twitch Drops during specific streaming events.
- Public Access (March 23-28, 2025): Subsequently made available for free download to everyone on Steam for a limited time leading up to the Early Access launch.
- Features Showcased:
- Advanced Create-a-Zoi tools, including detailed facial/body sculpting, improved outfit customization options (like customizable watches, rings, bracelets), and AI texture generation.
- A functional Build Studio demonstrating the Build Mode tools for constructing and furnishing lots, including foundations, walls, roofs, and furniture placement.
- Integration with the Canvas system, allowing players to upload and download Zoi and Build presets created within the demo.
- Current Status: The inZOI: Creative Studio Demo is no longer available for download or play on Steam following the launch of the full Early Access game. Players interested in these features now need to purchase the Early Access version.
Earlier Previews & Playtests (Non-Public)
Prior to the Creative Studio Demo, glimpses of inZOI were shown through:
- G-STAR 2023 & Developer Videos: Gameplay footage and feature demonstrations were revealed at gaming events and through official developer diaries, showcasing early iterations of gameplay mechanics.
- Closed Playtests: Select content creators and media likely had access to earlier, non-public builds for preview and feedback purposes. These were not available to the general player base.
How to Download Free inZOI Demo
Unfortunately the free inZOI: Creative Studio Demo is no longer available for download on Steam or any other platform. It was only accessible for a limited time (March 20-28, 2025) leading up to the Early Access launch. To access the Create-a-Zoi and Build Mode features now, you need to purchase the main inZOI Early Access game.
inZOI Demo Videos
While you can no longer play the demos, you can find numerous videos showcasing them on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. Search for "inZOI Creative Studio Demo gameplay" or "inZOI demo footage" to see content creators exploring the character creation and building tools from the March 2025 demo period Krafton also released official trailers and developer diaries prior to launch that featured footage from earlier development builds.
Can I transfer creations made in the demo to the full game?
Yes, potentially. Creations made in the inZOI: Creative Studio Demo could be transferred in two main ways:
- Canvas Uploads: If you uploaded your Zoi or Build presets to the Canvas platform during the demo period, you should be able to log in with the same KRAFTON ID in the Early Access game and download them from your profile or the public gallery.
- Local Presets: The demo saved presets locally (usually in
Documents\inZOI\Creations
). The Early Access game might automatically detect these files, making them available in your preset menus.
Be aware that due to game updates between the demo and Early Access, there might be minor compatibility issues or visual differences with transferred creations.
The pre-release demos, especially the Creative Studio, served as valuable tools for Krafton to showcase inZOI's potential, test core creation systems, and build community excitement before the full Early Access launch.
