How to Use Cheats in inZOI

Cheats can be a fun way to customize your gameplay experience in life simulation games like inZOI, allowing you to bypass certain challenges like earning money or managing needs, or simply to experiment and play creatively. In inZOI, while the options are currently limited during Early Access, there are official ways to gain advantages, and more are planned.

What cheat codes are available in inZOI?​

Currently, the only officially implemented cheat code available in inZOI is the Money Cheat, which provides instant funds to your active household.

How to use the inZOI Money Cheat?​

  • How to Access:
    1. While in Live Mode, locate Psycat's Guide icon (the book with a question mark, usually in the bottom-right corner of the UI).
    2. Click on Psycat's Guide to open its menu.
    3. Look for the button labeled "Use Money Cheat" (often near the bottom left of the guide window).
  • What it Does: Clicking this button instantly adds 100,000 Meow to your current household's funds.
  • Repeatability: You can click the "Use Money Cheat" button multiple times to add more stacks of 100,000 Meow if desired.

Meow Store Donuts (Cheat-like Effects)​

While not traditional cheat codes, the Meow Store offers consumable donuts that function similarly to cheats by providing instant boosts or altering game mechanics.

  • Access: Open the Zoi Card ([O] key), then click the Meow Store button (usually near the Karma meter).
  • Currency: Requires Meow Coins (earned by fulfilling Zoi Urges), not regular Meow.
  • Examples of Effects:
    • Need Filling/Stopping: Donuts to instantly fill Hunger, Sleep, Fun, etc., or temporarily stop their decay (e.g., "Enduring Hunger Donut").
    • Mood Alteration: Donuts to instantly induce positive moods (e.g., "Upbeat Donut" removes negative emotions) or negative ones ("Donut of Extreme Sadness").
    • Karma Reset/Change: Donuts to reset Karma to Neutral ("Neutral Donut") or instantly make it Terrible ("Devil Donut").
    • Skill Boosts: Donuts to temporarily accelerate skill gain (e.g., "Grow-Grow Skill Donut", "Art Skill Donut").
    • Other Effects: Donuts for boosting luck ("Lucky Donut"), preventing crime reports ("Criminal Mastermind Donut"), or increasing immunity ("Vaccine Donut").

Future Cheat Codes (Planned for May 2025)​

The developers have officially stated via the Development Roadmap for 2025 that more in-game cheat codes are planned for the May 2025 update.

  • Expected Functionality (Speculative): While specifics haven't been detailed, based on genre conventions, future cheats might allow players to:
    • Directly modify Need levels.
    • Instantly increase Skill levels.
    • Alter Relationship levels.
    • Change Traits or other character attributes (though Traits are currently permanent).
    • Unlock career levels or specific items.
    • Modify Zoi moods directly.
